House in Pero Pinheiro
Sintra, Portugal
2005-2012

The house is set to make the plot feel as big/deep as possible; two staggered volumes generate differentiated external spaces (entrance and kitchen service terrace), creating varying depth to the plot, maximising south facing internal space whilst minimising 3m wide strips of non-buildable external space; internally, levels drop along with the topography increasing the ceiling heights towards 3.2m in the living room, individualising the various spaces within.

Project Shortlisted for the RIBA EU Awards 2013.
